For the pipeline with pressure, the easiest problem in the production process is the leakage at the connection flange. Once leakage is found, do not tighten the bolt under pressure. The air contains a small amount of water vapor, carbon dioxide, acetylene, hydrocarbon and a little dust and other impurities. It will be very dangerous to let these impurities enter the air separation plant. Solid impurities will wear the device, especially threatening the safe operation of high-speed rotating equipment. Bringing them into the heat exchanger will also pollute the surface of heat transfer, reduce the heat transfer effect; steam and CO2 will freeze and precipitate in succession under the condition of low temperature, thus blocking the gas Channel and the sieve hole of the tower plate; the accumulation of acetylene and hydrocarbon tables in the distillation column is excessive, it is easy to trigger explosion. Therefore, in order to improve the safety, reliability and economy of the unit operation, the air must be purified.
