Liquid air and liquid nitrogen supercooler uses nitrogen as cold source to cool liquid air or liquid nitrogen. There are Pipe type and plate type cooling device. When leakage occurs, it will affect the normal operation of the distillation column. It can be divided into two situations: 1) liquid air and liquid nitrogen leak to the nitrogen side. Since the liquid air leaks to the nitrogen side, it will be further recovered in the heat exchanger, so the increase of cold loss is not obvious, but the temperature at the cold end is Ding. Will drop, the cold end is too cold. If it is liquid leakage, because of the low concentration of nitrogen in liquid, the leak into the gas nitrogen will make the purity of gas nitrogen decline. After the leakage of liquid, the amount of liquid going into the tower will decrease and the recirculation fluid will decrease, which will worsen the rectifying working condition and decrease the oxygen output. In severe cases, the distillation tower will not work...

Pure argon Tower and the condensation evaporator composite should be met: 1. Pure argon tower and condensing evaporator are manufactured, inspected and checked and accepted according to the relevant provisions of JB/T2549-1994 "aluminum air separation equipment manufacturing technical specification" and JB/T4734-2002 "Aluminum Welding container. 2. the welding joints of Class A and B of containers should be 100% x-ray tested to meet the n-level requirements of JB/T4730-2005 nondestructive testing of pressure-bearing equipment; the welding joints of class C and D should be 100% permeated tested, if the quality reaches Grade I of JB/T4730-2005, it is qualified. 3. after the compounding, Channel I (the outside of the upper part) first conducts the strength test with 0.23MPa gas, then decreases to 0.15MPa gas tightness test; Channel II (pure hydrogen Tower) conducts the strength pressure test with 0.104MPa gas, then lower the pressure to 0.08MPa to conduct air-tightness test; III channe...

Cooling is a common name in refrigeration, refrigeration is to get lower temperature than the surrounding air, compared with the surrounding air, it has the ability to absorb heat, generally, the heat absorption capacity of low-temperature objects relative to the surrounding air temperature is called cold volume. The lower the temperature of the object is (the bigger the temperature difference between the object and the surrounding air is ). The more the quantity is, the greater the ability to absorb heat, that is, the greater the cooling.

There must be rising steam and downstream liquid during the rectification process. Condensation evaporator is the bond connecting the upper and lower towers, which is used for the heat exchange between liquid oxygen and gas nitrogen. Liquid oxygen comes from the bottom of the upper tower, and absorbs heat in the condensing evaporator (the latent heat released by the condensation of gas and nitrogen) and evaporates into gas and oxygen, part of which is sent out as the product gas and oxygen, while most (70% ~ 80%) supply the upper tower as the rising steam for rectification. The gas nitrogen comes from the upper part of the lower tower, which releases heat in the condensing evaporator and condenses into liquid nitrogen, and supplies the upper tower and the lower tower as recirculation fluid to participate in the rectification process. Therefore, condensation evaporator is an essential and important heat exchange equipment in the rectification system. Its working quality is related to...

What are the basic components of the plate fin heat exchanger in an air separation plant
Nov 06, 2023
The air passes through the cooler or the switching heat exchanger. As the temperature decreases continuously, the moisture gradually flows out and deposits on the stuffing of the cooler or the fin of the plate heat exchanger in the form of water drops, snowflakes, etc, there is basically no water in the gas at-60℃. When the air temperature drops below-130℃, carbon dioxide is also gradually precipitated in the form of solid (dry ice), and there is basically no carbon dioxide when it reaches-170℃. The precipitation and freezing of moisture and carbon dioxide in the air in the switching heat exchanger provide good conditions for the safe and reliable operation of the air separation plant. But it has a negative effect on heat transfer, and it will also block channels and increase flow resistance. Therefore, these eluates should be removed timely and regularly. The method adopted is to take away the deposited water and carbon dioxide when the backflow gas (such as dirt nitrogen) passes t...

Phase cooling method is one of the start-up operating force methods of the air separation plant which uses switching heat exchanger to self-remove moisture and carbon dioxide. In the full low pressure air separation plant, under the operating pressure of 0.5MPa (surface pressure), the moisture content is-40 ~ -60℃ has been basically frozen. However, carbon dioxide will not be precipitated and frozen until it is below-133 ℃ until-165 ~ -170℃ frozen. Thus, the range from-60℃ to-133 ℃ is dry zone. Using this principle, the cooling process of the equipment during the start-up operation is carried out in stages, which is the stage cooling method. The whole cooling process is divided into four stages: the first stage is the stage of moisture precipitation and freezing. In this stage, only the switching heat exchanger is first cooled until the temperature at the cold end reaches-60℃; the second stage is drying stage, and the available water has been cleared, while for the machine which has...

I. Start-up operation should be conducted according to the following requirements: 1. Water should be supplied to the cooling water system and the cooling water system. When the cooling water is below 20 °C, the regulating valve should reduce the water supply of the cooling water; 2. Start the generator pump and the absorbent pump to make the solution circulate; 3. Slowly open the valve of steam or hot water to supply water to the generator. For the unit with steam as the heat source, the unit should be operated under low steam pressure first, and after no abnormal phenomenon, the steam pressure should be gradually increased to the specified value of the equipment technical documents; 4. When the water bag of the evaporator's refrigerant has enough water, the evaporator pump should be started, and the refrigerator should be adjusted to make it run normally; 5. During the start-up operation, the vacuum pump should be started, remove the residual air in the system or the non-condensab...
