The main purpose of air separation equipment is to separate the oxygen, nitrogen and other components of air. In order to perform the separation efficiently, it is usually necessary to compress the air to a higher pressure. Centrifugal compressors efficiently increase the pressure of the air to provide the necessary conditions for the subsequent separation process.
At high pressures, the relative volatility (i.e. the difference in vapour pressures of the components at the same temperature) of the components in the air changes, and centrifugal compressors, by providing a high-pressure environment, enable the air separation equipment to more efficiently separate the required components such as oxygen and nitrogen. Centrifugal compressor has simple structure, stable and reliable operation. In the air separation equipment, the centrifugal compressor can run continuously for a long time, providing a stable compressed air flow for the whole system, ensuring the continuity and stability of the air separation process. Centrifugal compressors can be adapted to air compression tasks with different flow and pressure requirements. By adjusting the operating parameters of the centrifugal compressor (e.g. rotational speed, inlet guide vane opening, etc.), it is possible to flexibly meet the air compression requirements of different production demands.
Centrifugal compressor in the air separation equipment plays an important role in providing high-pressure air, improve separation efficiency, energy saving, stable and reliable operation and adaptability. It is one of the indispensable key equipments in air separation equipment.

Generally, the actual cooling capacity of expander is always less than the theoretical cooling capacity. Under the same inlet and outlet pressure and inlet gas temperature, the lower the efficiency of expander, the smaller the unit refrigerant cooling capacity and the smaller the temperature drop efficiency of expander. The efficiency of expander depends on the size of various losses inside the expander. Due to the existence of various losses, the ability of gas to do external work is reduced in varying degrees. To sum up, the losses mainly include the following aspects: 1. When the air flow passes through the work wheel and the deflector, the loss caused by friction and air flow impact on the runner surface is called flow loss. 2. When the impeller is rotating, the friction heat generated by the gas around the wheel disc will increase the temperature of the gas, which is called friction blast loss. 3. When the gas passes through the deflector, the leakage from the gap bet
