According to the adsorption characteristics of molecular sieves, the molecular sieve adsorber can choose either the pressure swing adsorption molecular sieve purification process or the temperature swing adsorption molecular sieve purification process. The advantage of pressure swing adsorption is that it can simplify the process, eliminate equipment such as air cooling towers, low-temperature water pumps, and regeneration heaters, and also save steam. Its disadvantage is that the switching cycle is short, the valve action is frequent and prone to failure, the switching loss of air is large, the energy consumption is increased, and the adsorption is not completely carried out by variable temperature adsorption, which has an impact on the safety of large air separation. The total investment is also slightly greater than that of variable temperature adsorption. We mostly use the temperature swing adsorption molecular sieve purification process.
