The molecular sieve used in oxygen generators is the zeolite molecular sieve. It is a crystalline silica and aluminate polyhydric compound. Molecular sieves have a uniform pore size and their main function is to sieve molecules. There are three main types of molecular sieves: A, X and Y. The 13X molecular sieve is the only adsorbent currently used in liquid air separation plants. Any molecules that can be adsorbed on 3A, 4A and 5A molecular sieves can be adsorbed by 13X molecular sieves. It is characterized by strong water absorption, and has good adsorption performance at high temperature and low partial pressure, and can adsorb more kinds of harmful impurities in the process air. 13X molecular sieve crystal cavity volume, surface area is also large, its adsorption capacity is high, fast diffusion. 13X molecular sieve through the slope of the curve is larger, so its mass transfer area is shorter, fast adsorption.

The main characteristics of molecular sieve.

1, very strong adsorption, good selective adsorption performance.

2, very high dryness, good drying ability for high temperature gases.

3, good stability, below 200 ℃ can still maintain the normal adsorption capacity. The service life of molecular sieve is also relatively long.

4, the molecular sieve has a particularly strong adsorption capacity for water, followed by acetylene and carbon dioxide.

Deere air separation equipment manufacturing design experience, in complete sets of small air separation units, large air separation units and liquid air separation plants manufacturing according to the actual requirements and specific circumstances to do fine, perfect, strict, safe, high quality.

When the amount of processing air is reduced, the rising steam and reflux liquid in the upper column will be reduced, but the reflux ratio will not change. Therefore, the reduction of processing air in a small range will not affect the purity of oxygen and nitrogen, and the reduction of processing air volume will help to reduce the pressure of the upper and lower columns. However, according to the material balance, the production of oxygen and nitrogen will naturally decrease when the amount of processing air is reduced. If the amount of processing air is too small, there will be leakage on the tray. If the heat and mass exchange of the leaked liquid is not sufficient, the purity of oxygen and nitrogen will be greatly affected, and even the normal production can not be realized. Therefore, the minimum allowable load of distillation column is generally specified.
