On August 12, the new district of Kaifeng held a press conference to release relevant information to the society about the approved establishment of characteristic industrial base of Kaifeng air separation plant of the National Torch Plan declared by this district. National Torch Plan Kaifeng air separation plant characteristic industrial base has become the first national characteristic industrial base in our city.
As one of the three domestic research and development and manufacturing bases of air separation, the characteristic industrial base of Kaifeng air separation equipment has occupied a very important position in the field of air separation in China for a long time, forming a research and development and production system of characteristic industrial cluster and industry-university-research integration. The air separation industry in our city has been in the forefront of the country for a long time in the aspects of design, research and development, manufacturing and production. At present, there are more than 70 relevant enterprises, which are supported by leading enterprises, large and small-sized enterprises are interrelated, interdependent and mutually promoting the agglomeration area of air separation industry.
In May 2008, Kaifeng New District officially declared Henan torch plan air separation equipment characteristic industrial base. In December of the same year, it was identified as provincial torch plan characteristic industrial base by provincial science and technology department. In the first half of 2009, Kaifeng New District submitted to provincial science and technology department to apply for national characteristic industrial base. In July 28 this year, the Torch Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology approved the establishment of "The special industrial base of the National Torch Plan Kaifeng air separation plant ".
Jiao Yuejin, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee, Minister of the United Front Work Department and secretary of the working committee of Kaifeng New District, put forward requirements for the construction and development of the characteristic industrial base of Kaifeng air separation plant under the National Torch Plan. He pointed out that in the construction of the base, according to the characteristics and advantages of the development of innovative industrial clusters, the development of the air separation industry should be brought into the "Twelfth Five-Year" plan of Kaifeng city and Kaifeng New District by taking advantage of the situation, carry out supplementary chain investment, accelerate the agglomeration and development of air separation enterprises. It will take 3 to 5 years for Kaifeng New District to build a characteristic industrial base with an output value of more than 15 billion yuan and an international advanced level of research and development and production, it has become the most influential and competitive cluster area of air separation equipment industry at home and abroad.
