With the rapid development of DEAR air separation's economy, the industrial gas industry, as one of the basic industrial elements of the national economy, plays an increasingly important role in the national economy. At present, the development of the world gas industry is basically monopolized by several big companies in America, Germany, France, Japan and other countries, and it has the tendency to expand to developing countries. The competition of China's gas industry has evolved into the competition between international gas industry giants and domestic national gas industry enterprises. In this situation, China's industrial gas industry is in urgent need of development and expansion.
China's industrial gas is regarded as the most dynamic market in the world, 2003 ~ In 2005, the annual growth rate of China's gas industrial output value was 65%, while the global average annual growth rate was only 12%. In 2007, the total industrial gas output value was 50 billion yuan, and the demand increased by 10% every year, it is estimated that the total output value in 2016 will reach 100 billion yuan. In the future, industrial gases will enter the stage of rapid development, and the most prominent is the hydrogen market, especially the hydrogen demand applied in the energy industry will increase strongly. The huge market demand brings new development space for China's gas industry, but at the same time, it also makes China a place for several world's big gas industry companies to fight. Data shows that currently the gas supply market developed in China accounts for 30% of the whole market demand ~ 40%, and 90% of this part has been controlled by large foreign-funded enterprises. The international gas industry giants invest and build factories all over China, and the number has accounted for more than 70% of the domestic. Recently, American Air chemical products company and French liquefied air group plan to build two new factories in Shenyang Economic and Technological Development Zone, and French air group has also invested a large amount of money to build a large-scale production base in Hangzhou, two new large-scale gas production plants will be built in Heilongjiang.
The structure of self-produced gas and purchased gas in China's industrial gas market can be seen in two major parts: in the industrial gas market of 50 billion yuan, self-produced gas accounts for 53%, and foreign companies account for 35%. Since 1990s S, except American air company, other six large gas companies have entered China on a large scale, and established more than 90 joint ventures and sole proprietorship gas companies in China, with the investment amount reaching more than 1 billion dollars. Developed countries have regarded industrial gases as the cornerstone of developing their own industries, national defense and high-tech industries and the sharp tool of external expansion.
Currently, supporting the national gas industry has already had certain foundations and advantages. Since the reform and opening up, with the rise of China as a global manufacturing power, China's industrial gas market demand has soared, and the variety, quantity and quality of products have developed by leaps and bounds. At present, except that a few large enterprises in China are still producing independently, supporting themselves and supplying the surplus to the society, most of the social demands are solved by professional gas suppliers. For example, Hangzhou Hangyang Co., Ltd. has the advantages of good quality, economical and practical in manufacturing medium and small gas production equipment; Harbin Liming gas group has invested and built more than a dozen companies in Northeast China, it occupies more than 40% of the market share in Northeast China.
At present, there are many unstable factors in the development of industrial gases in our country, and some abnormal sales methods are still mixing the market price. Therefore, experts suggest: industrial gas industry is in urgent need of rectification, integration and expansion, so as to achieve large-scale production equipment, specialized centralized supply, high quality and diversification of gas products, enterprises with development potential should be encouraged to merge and reorganize small and medium-sized enterprises, solving the problems of "scattered, small, chaotic and poor" in domestic gas industry, promote industrial gas industry from subsidiary industry to complete socialized industry. Governments at all levels and enterprise leaders should improve their understanding of the strategic significance of the development of the national gas industry, and strengthen the policy support in the introduction of advanced foreign production technology and excellent management methods in the national gas industry.
