The storage of liquid products in air separation equipment is mainly achieved through low-temperature liquid storage systems. Low temperature liquid storage systems typically include low-temperature liquid storage tanks, low-temperature liquid injection pumps, and related pipelines and valves. These devices work together to ensure the safe and effective storage of liquid products such as liquid oxygen and liquid nitrogen.
There are two types of liquid inlet methods for the storage tank: initial liquid inlet and supplementary liquid inlet. The specific operation needs to be determined according to the status of the storage tank and the liquid inlet requirements. Connect the infusion hose and ensure that the hose connection is firm and leak free. Blow off the infusion hose to eliminate moist air and mechanical impurities inside the pipeline. According to the pressure state of the storage tank contents, choose the method of non pressure liquid inlet or pressure liquid inlet. When there is no pressure entering the liquid, the inner container is connected to the atmosphere; When introducing liquid under pressure, the vent valve should be closed to ensure that the pressure inside the container is higher than atmospheric pressure. Open the inlet valve and start the liquid inlet. During the liquid inlet process, it is necessary to closely observe the indication of the liquid level gauge to prevent liquid overflow. During storage, it is necessary to regularly check the pressure, liquid level, and valve status of the storage tank to ensure the safe and stable operation of the storage system. If abnormal pressure rise or rapid liquid level drop is found in the storage tank, the cause should be identified in a timely manner and measures should be taken to deal with it. Regularly inspect and maintain the storage tank and its ancillary equipment, including the calibration and replacement of pressure gauges, level gauges, safety valves, and other instruments.
Check if the paint anti-corrosion layer on the outer surface of the storage tank is intact, and repair it promptly if it peels off. Check the vacuum degree of the interlayer. If the vacuum degree decreases, it should be evacuated in time to restore the insulation performance.
When liquid products need to be sent out, the liquid in the storage tank can be pressurized by a low-temperature liquid injection pump and sent to the water bath evaporator for vaporization. The vaporized gas can reach the appropriate temperature and pressure, and then be sent to the pipeline network for user use.
