First of all, it completely conforms to the general principle of distillation organization and simplifies the organization of air separation distillation. However, these limitations do not exist in the crude argon distillation column. Fourth, the energy consumption of the air separation column can be greatly reduced. After adopting this technical scheme, because there is no so-called nitrogen resistance problem, the nitrogen content in the oxygen argon mixture can be relaxed to less than 5%.

 

The energy consumption of distillation separation with 4-5% argon fraction as raw gas of crude argon distillation column is higher than that with 10% argon fraction as raw material, but it is very favorable compared with the energy consumption of air separation column.
