The non-power consuming option for liquid air separation plants can be used for full liquid air separation plants, where the produced liquid is sold off. This approach is currently available for most LNG receiving stations. For air separation units with a large cold capacity, the liquid air can be pressurised to 6baA in a vacuum storage tank, and then heat exchanged through a heat exchanger, instead of the air compressor, directly into the cold box for distillation. At the same time in the cold box outside the wall hanging solar power panels, for auxiliary electricity, or use will be liquid air high-pressure vaporisation expansion power generation. Due to the long-term operation, the cold and heat coupling island can be built (large places centralised cooling), that is, only the investment in liquid air separation plants and maintenance, but no operating energy consumption, the production of liquid oxygen liquid nitrogen, liquid hydrogen has the advantage of more than 50% lower than the market cost. The investment in equipment can be made in the form of multiple vacuum storage tanks, large flat-bottomed tanks, booster machines, imported centrifugal compressors or multiple piston machine combinations, of which piston machines need to be imported in large quantities at this stage. If several large air separation units receiving stations are established on the coast, it is more cost effective to use cold energy in this way.
Dear Air Separation liquid air separation plants and large air separation units for the production of LNG plants has low power consumption and the technology is at a world leading level.
