The main purpose of conducting air pressure tests on site for air separation equipment is to check the airtightness of the equipment. The following issues should be noted during pressure testing:
1) It is strictly prohibited to use oxygen as the pressure testing gas source;
2) For non degreasing equipment after pressure testing, clean and oil-free pressure testing air sources should be used;
3) The pressure gauge used for pressure testing should be calibrated and sealed with lead before use. Before pressure testing, carefully check whether the pressure gauge valve has been opened;
4) During pressure testing, it is not allowed to strike the pressure testing container with a hammer;
5) During pressure testing, screws cannot be disassembled or tightened;
6) When using a nitrogen gas cylinder or a higher pressure source to inflate a lower pressure container for pressure testing, a pressure reducing valve should be installed and direct inflation is strictly prohibited.
7) After the pressure test inflation reaches the specified pressure, the inflation pipe joint should be removed.
Whether it is equipment installation or debugging, DEAR Air Separation can provide comprehensive support to customers. A technical service team composed of experienced and skilled debugging experts is active in many regions and continuously receives technical skills training to meet customer needs. The debugging and installation methods are systematic and require strict checklists and protocols to meet standard delivery requirements, ensuring that the equipment can be assembled, integrated, and optimized correctly on site.
