What safety problems should be paid attention to when using regenerative electric heater in air separation plant

As an electrical equipment, the electric heater shall be operated with attention to personal safety and equipment safety. Specifically:

1) Operate in strict accordance with the operating procedures. During heating, ventilation shall be conducted before power on, and pay close attention to whether the gas flow is normal. When the heating is stopped, the power shall be cut off first and then the gas shall be cut off. It is strictly forbidden to power on when there is no ventilation or the air volume is very small.

2) In case of automatic tripping or fuse fusing due to circuit failure, or temperature does not rise after power on, ask electricians to check and repair;

3) The temperature control instrument shall be calibrated regularly to ensure its sensitivity and accuracy. The furnace temperature shall not be out of control due to instrument failure. The relay shall be cleaned and dusted regularly to avoid moisture;

4) The non charged metal parts (shell, support, etc.) of the electric furnace shall be reliably grounded;

5) Pay attention not to make the temperature of the furnace shell too high (the temperature rise exceeds 60 ℃), so as to avoid aging or insulation damage of the power line;

6) The insulation resistance of the electric furnace that has not been used for a long time must be checked before use;

7) Operators shall receive training on safe use of electricity.
