The weldability of steel affects the welding quality of welded joints. Under the conditions of certain welding methods, welding materials, welding specification parameters and welding structure forms, the degree of difficulty to obtain high-quality welded joints is called the weldability of steel. Therefore, the evaluation of weldability should be conducted from both manufacturing and use aspects. Process weldability mainly refers to the possibility of various cracks in welded joints, which reflects the difficulty of manufacturing. Weldability mainly refers to the mechanical properties, heat resistance, corrosion resistance, low temperature resistance, fatigue resistance and other special properties of welded joints, which reflects the reliability of use.
