Classification of process form of air separation unit: what are the configurations of internal pressure process

The configuration of the internal pressure process of the air separation unit varies greatly according to the compression mode of the product, including the following aspects:

1. Air compressor and filter system: adopt domestic or imported machines equipped with domestic self-cleaning filters, and the booster is generally imported;

2. Nitrogen water precooling system: make full use of the cooling capacity of dry nitrogen, reduce the temperature of chilled water, and cancel the chiller (or with standby chiller);

3. Purification system: electric heating or steam heating, automatic switching; Molecular sieve + alumina double bed structure is adopted to prolong the service life of molecular sieve;

4. Refrigeration system: two domestic expanders, one for use and one for standby; Or an imported expander; Or one imported and one domestic expander;

5. Heat exchange system: high-low mixed domestic large plate type or high-low mixed imported large plate type or split type (low-pressure plate is made in China and high-pressure plate is imported), and supporting liquid pump for pressurization;

6. Main rectification system: sieve plate lower column (or packed column), regular packing upper column, plate fin multi-layer or falling film main cooling;

7. Argon production system: regular packed argon column, full rectification three column argon production;

8. Nitrogen pressure system: nitrogen penetration or nitrogen piston;

9. Instrument control system: domestic or imported DCS.

DEAR air separation plans the project scheme design to ensure that the customer's project is economical and reasonable.

In the upper column fractionation, below the liquid air inlet is called the stripping section, and above the liquid air inlet is called the distillation section. The stripping section realizes the separation of oxygen and argon, and the distillation section realizes the separation of oxygen and nitrogen. Because the boiling points of oxygen and argon are relatively close, the separation is difficult. In order to ensure the purity of oxygen, the separation of oxygen in the distillation section is not clean, and argon escapes with oxygen and nitrogen. If high purity nitrogen is to be obtained, argon will condense with oxygen in the distillation section, which will affect the purity of oxygen. In order to ensure the purity of oxygen and obtain high purity nitrogen, it is necessary to extract part of the gas with high argon concentration in the distillation section.
