The process of the air separation unit is based on the pressure: high pressure process, medium pressure process and low pressure process; The high, medium and low pressure processes of the process are the same, but the exhaust pressure of the air compressor is different due to the efficiency of expansion refrigeration and the maturity of the oxygen and nitrogen compressor. The initial high-pressure process has a high product gas pressure, which generally does not require an oxygen and nitrogen compressor. The investment is small, but the energy consumption is high. At present, due to the development of relevant unit equipment, the high and medium pressure process has been eliminated.

By use: Metallurgical type, chemical type; These two processes are the most widely used mainstream processes and have been widely used in industry.

By product type: double high process, single high process, full liquid process, liquefaction device, etc; There are many kinds of these processes, which are mainly divided and developed according to the types of production liquid and gas to meet the needs of different customers.

According to the compression mode of the product: internal compression process [double pump internal compression and single pump internal compression process (air circulation and nitrogen circulation)], external compression process. This process is mainly based on the product pressure, whether the oxygen and nitrogen compressor can meet the requirements, and the investment of the product compressor.

DEAR air separation has a professional technical team to provide customers with high-quality design services for air separation equipment construction projects.

With the rapid growth of liquid air separation plant production and sales, and the global energy crunch, the prospects for the use of liquid air separation plant cold energy are very broad. The use of liquid air separation plant cold energy should be developed in the direction of integration, fully integrated and effective use of liquid air separation plant cold energy liquid air separation units, using circulating nitrogen through the heat exchanger to recycle liquid air separation plant cold, ...

When the amount of processing air is reduced, the rising steam and reflux liquid in the upper column will be reduced, but the reflux ratio will not change. Therefore, the reduction of processing air in a small range will not affect the purity of oxygen and nitrogen, and the reduction of processing air volume will help to reduce the pressure of the upper and lower columns. However, according to the material balance, the production of oxygen and nitrogen will naturally decrease when the amount of processing air is reduced. If the amount of processing air is too small, there will be leakage on the tray. If the heat and mass exchange of the leaked liquid is not sufficient, the purity of oxygen and nitrogen will be greatly affected, and even the normal production can not be realized. Therefore, the minimum allowable load of distillation column is generally specified.
