Generally, the valve rod is stainless steel, and the valve rod nut is brass. Because the linear expansion coefficient of the two materials is different, the shrinkage of brass is larger than that of stainless steel at low temperature, causing the screw thread to bite; If the heating at the valve is not complete, or the valve packing flows in and out, freezing will also make it difficult to open the valve; In addition, improper fixing of the valve during installation, unreasonable configuration of the valve and pipeline, and change of valve position at low temperature may cause the valve to jam.
