How to control rectification in normal operation of air separation unit

The air separation unit needs to be adjusted during normal operation and production.

Rectification control: the liquid and air level of the lower tower must be stable and can be automatically controlled by the valve to maintain the liquid and air level at the specified height. The control of rectification process is mainly realized by the opening of the valve. When the opening is increased, the oxygen content in liquid nitrogen increases. On the contrary, when the opening of the valve is reduced, the oxygen content in liquid nitrogen decreases. The purity of product gas will also be affected by the amount of product gas taken out. If the amount of product gas taken out is increased, its purity will decrease. On the contrary, if the amount of product gas taken out is reduced, its purity will increase. Adjust the argon fraction by adjusting the amount of oxygen and nitrogen out of the tower, turn on the oxygen extraction amount and turn down the nitrogen extraction amount, then the argon content in the fraction will increase, and the nitrogen content may also increase; On the contrary, if the nitrogen extraction volume is turned on and the oxygen extraction volume is turned off, the argon content in argon will decrease, and the nitrogen content will also decrease. In addition to adjusting the composition of argon fraction, the adjustment of crude argon can also adjust the liquid level of the crude argon condenser. With the increase of liquid level, the resistance of crude argon tower increases, the oxygen content in crude argon decreases, and the nitrogen content in crude argon decreases. The purity adjustment of pure argon can be achieved by increasing the heat load of evaporator and condenser, increasing the exhaust gas extraction from the tower top, and reducing the reflux of refined argon tower.

DEAR company has technical advantages, and engineering and technical personnel with actual equipment operation experience carry out operation management for customers to ensure the long-term, stable and safe operation of user equipment.

Generally, the actual cooling capacity of expander is always less than the theoretical cooling capacity. Under the same inlet and outlet pressure and inlet gas temperature, the lower the efficiency of expander, the smaller the unit refrigerant cooling capacity and the smaller the temperature drop efficiency of expander. The efficiency of expander depends on the size of various losses inside the expander. Due to the existence of various losses, the ability of gas to do external work is reduced in varying degrees. To sum up, the losses mainly include the following aspects: 1. When the air flow passes through the work wheel and the deflector, the loss caused by friction and air flow impact on the runner surface is called flow loss. 2. When the impeller is rotating, the friction heat generated by the gas around the wheel disc will increase the temperature of the gas, which is called friction blast loss. 3. When the gas passes through the deflector, the leakage from the gap bet
