The air separation unit mainly consists of air compressor system, air precooling system, molecular sieve purification system, air separation cooling box and liquid storage tank area, and the three components are connected by inner pipe gallery.
The goal of air separation unit layout is safe, reliable and economical on the premise of meeting process requirements. At least the following aspects should be considered when designing the layout.
(1) Process requirements: meet the process requirements, consider the size of the equipment, etc.
(2) Customer demand: including the output size of the required devices, logistics direction, such as power supply, steam and cooling water sources, handover point of related products, future development demand, and requirements of structural buildings, such as machine building, office, control area, substation and maintenance workshop.
(3) unit conditions: site conditions should be considered, including unit size, meteorological conditions and surrounding environment.
(4) Site selection: it is necessary to consider the surrounding geographical environment and select the best site. The air separation unit should be on the downwind side of the annual minimum frequency wind direction of the pollution source.
(5) Greening requirements and layout optimization: greening coverage, unit landscaping, scheme comparison and selection.
(6) Design specification: meet the specification requirements, consider the minimum space and spacing requirements, including safety spacing, separation spacing, installation spacing, maintenance spacing and operation spacing. Safety distance refers to the minimum safety distance between hazard and person, while separation distance refers to the minimum distance between hazard and equipment.
