There are intercoolers between all levels of the air compressor. In the intercooler, the method of convective heat exchange between cooling water and compressed air is used to cool the compressed air, so as to reduce the energy consumption of the compressor and ensure its reliable operation. If the intercooler leaks in the primary cooler, the cooling water pressure is usually higher than the gas pressure, the cooling water will enter the gas side, and the gas will contain water; If the leakage occurs in the secondary and later coolers, the gas pressure will be higher than the cooling water pressure, the gas will enter the cooling water side, and there will be bubbles overflowing from the cooling water collection tank.
