There must be rising steam and downstream liquid during the rectification process. Condensation evaporator is the bond connecting the upper and lower towers, which is used for the heat exchange between liquid oxygen and gas nitrogen. Liquid oxygen comes from the bottom of the upper tower, and absorbs heat in the condensing evaporator (the latent heat released by the condensation of gas and nitrogen) and evaporates into gas and oxygen, part of which is sent out as the product gas and oxygen, while most (70%~80%) supply the upper tower as the rising steam for rectification. The gas nitrogen comes from the upper part of the lower tower, which releases heat in the condensing evaporator and condenses into liquid nitrogen, and supplies the upper tower and the lower tower as recirculation fluid to participate in the rectification process. Therefore, condensation evaporator is an essential and important heat exchange equipment in the rectification system. In the air separation unit, the water cooling column is a hybrid heat exchange equipment which uses the crude nitrogen to reduce the temperature of the cooling water from the air cooling column after cooling air, so as to provide the air cooling column with recycling. In the water cooling column, the crude nitrogen from the reversible heat exchanger (or accumulator) is 27-28 ℃ and the relative humidity is about 30%, while the temperature of the cooling water from the air cooling column is 35-45 ℃.
