The main reasons that cause tile burning of air compressor are:
1) poor oil quality. The poor oil quality is often caused by dirty lubricating oil, not filtered before use, not thoroughly cleaned the oil circuit, oil cooler leakage, water in the oil and so on;
2) the cooling efficiency of oil cooler decreases, the temperature of lubricating oil is too high, and the viscosity of oil decreases, which makes it difficult to form lubricating oil film;
3) the pipe flange of the suction end of the oil pump leaks, inhaling a large amount of air, which makes the amount of oil suction reduce sharply;
4) oil pump outlet pipe or flange, container leakage, oil level of the oil tank is reduced or oil return plunger is not adjusted properly;
5) compressor reverse. This kind of situation often occurs in the case of stopping with pressure and the failure of the exit check valve. In addition, after the overhaul of the high voltage circuit, the fault of the stator three-phase current may also occur. At this time, the gear oil pump will not be able to supply oil normally, and the bearing lacks necessary lubrication, which will lead to serious tile burning accident;
6) cut off the oil during emergency stop. It often happens on centrifugal compressor which has no spare oil pump and no high level oil tank, and only relies on hand oil pump for emergency use;
7) thrust tile is broken. Generally, it is caused by excessive axial displacement.
In a word, the main reasons of tile digging are poor oil quality, oil pressure or insufficient oil volume. Therefore, oil quality should be tested frequently during operation to ensure that the oil pressure is within the specified range. The oil volume must be sufficient. Check the oil level of the oil tank frequently and eliminate the oil leakage timely. Most compressors have been equipped with oil pressure alarm and interlocking devices to ensure safety.
