In the operation of argon purification system, attention should be paid to the operation of hydrofining and deaerating. The input of the reaction furnace for hydrofining and deaerating must be conducted only when the oxygen content in crude argon is less than 2%. When the oxygen content in crude argon is less than 2%, start the hydrogen compressor and replace the hydrogen pipeline with pure nitrogen. Hydrofining can only be carried out after confirming that the replacement is clean and correct.
Generally, the hydrofining quantity should increase 1% excess hydrogen according to the hydrogen quantity required by the complete reaction of hydrogen and oxygen. The purpose is to fully react the oxygen in crude argon and further improve the purity of refined argon. When the hydrofining starts according to the calculated quantity, the process should be carried out slowly. When the hydrofining amount reaches about 10% of the calculated value, pay attention to the temperature of the reaction furnace. After the temperature of the reaction furnace rises gradually and reaches stability, the hydrofining can be continued until it is added to the calculated value. Check whether the temperature of the deaerated furnace is less than 450℃. After the temperature gradually reaches stability, the instrument for analyzing excess hydrogen will be put into use. When the excess hydrogen reaches 1% ~ 2% after about 1 hour, prepare to put into oxygen analysis instrument (before analyzing process argon, manually analyze the oxygen content in process argon, whether it is less than 10-5, so as to prevent the slight oxygen analysis table from being damaged ). When the oxygen content in process argon is less than 10-6, the refined argon tower can be put into operation.
