From the perspective of control system:DCS is a hierarchical control system. Each level completes different functions. Functional stratification system is a prominent feature of decentralized control system and the key to realize decentralized control function and centralized operation display.
1. Process control level equipment: Site station (collection station, control station ). Function: data collection, Operation processing and control output; communication through communication network and control management level. Composition: Communication Module, controller module and I/O module.
2. Control management level equipment: Operator station, engineer station. Function: monitor and operate; interfaces for people and processes. Send data to the production management level through the gateway machine. Engineering configuration, parameter adjustment and system maintenance; interface between human and system. Composition: host and peripherals.
3. Production management level equipment: real-time data server, workstation. Function: monitor and manage the production process at the factory level, diagnose and analyze the failure at the factory level, and calculate the performance index at the factory level. Send data to the operation management level through the gateway machine.
