Knowledge Introduction of air compressor:
1. Concept:
Air compressor is the main body of air source device, which is the device that converts mechanical energy of prime mover (usually Motor) into gas pressure energy, and it is the air pressure generating device of compressed air. Air compressor, air compressor for short, is the main body of the air source device. it is a device that converts the mechanical energy of prime mover (usually Motor) into gas pressure energy, a gas generating device of compressed air, and there are many kinds of air compressors, according to the working principle, it can be divided into volume compressor and speed compressor.

3. Types:
There are many kinds of air compressors, which can be divided into volume compressor, reciprocating compressor and centrifugal compressor according to the working principle.
The working principle of volume compressor is to compress the volume of gas and increase the density of gas molecules per unit volume to increase the pressure of compressed air.
The working principle of centrifugal compressor is to increase the movement speed of gas molecules, and to transform the kinetic energy of gas molecules into the pressure energy of gas, thus increasing the pressure of compressed air.
The working principle of reciprocating compressor (also called piston compressor) is to compress gas directly and discharge it when the gas reaches a certain pressure.
Currently, the commonly used air compressors include piston air compressor, Screw Air Compressor, (Screw Air Compressor is divided into twin-screw air compressor and single-screw air compressor), centrifugal compressor and sliding type air compressor, swirling air compressor reduction machine.
The following are the definitions of various compressors. Compressor such as Cam type, diaphragm type and diffuser pump are not included, because they are of special use and their sizes are relatively small.
1) volume compressor -- it limits a certain amount of continuous airflow in a closed space to raise the pressure.
2) reciprocating compressor -- it is a volumetric compressor, whose compression component is a piston, which makes reciprocating motion in the cylinder.
3) rotary compressor -- it is a volumetric compressor, and compression is realized by the forced movement of rotating components. Sliding plate compressor -- it is a rotary variable capacity compressor, whose axial sliding plate makes radial sliding on the eccentric rotor of the same cylinder. The air between the slides is compressed and discharged.
4) liquid-piston compressor-is a rotary volume compressor, in which water or other liquid is used as a piston to compress the gas and then discharge the gas.
5) roots dual-rotor compressor -- belongs to rotary volume compressor, in which two roots rotors are meshed with each other so as to intercept the gas and send it from the air inlet to the air outlet. No internal compression.
6) screw compressor -- is a rotary volume compressor, in which two rotors with spiral gear are meshed to compress and discharge the gas. Speed Type Compressor -- it is a rotary continuous airflow compressor, in which the high-speed rotating blade accelerates the gas passing through it, thus transforming the speed into pressure. The conversion part occurs on the rotating blade, and the part occurs on the fixed diffuser or recirculator baffle.
7) centrifugal compressor -- it is a speed type compressor, in which one or more rotating impellers (blades are usually on the side) accelerate the gas. The main air flow is radial. Axial flow compressor -- it is a speed type compressor, in which the gas is accelerated by the rotor with blades. The main air flow is axial. Hybrid flow compressor, also known as speed type compressor, its rotor shape combines some characteristics of centrifugal type and axial flow type. Jet compressor -- take away the inhaled gas by using high-speed gas or steam jet flow, and then convert the speed of the mixed gas into pressure in the diffuser.
