Air separation equipment adopts various technologies and methods in filtering, pre cooling, and purifying air to ensure the purity and quality of the final product.
Air filtration is the first step in the pretreatment of air separation equipment, with the main purpose of removing particulate matter and impurities from the air that may cause wear, corrosion, or affect separation efficiency. Using raw air filters, dust particles in the air are effectively removed through mechanisms such as inertial impact, Brownian diffusion, and direct blocking. The main function of the pre cooling system is to improve the efficiency of air separation and protect the core components of the air separation equipment. Before the air enters the separation tower, its temperature is lowered through a pre cooling system to reduce the moisture and carbon dioxide content in the air, thereby avoiding these components from condensing into ice or solids at low temperatures and affecting the separation process. Use a heat exchanger to exchange heat between air and a cold source (such as cold water or cold air), reducing the temperature of the air. Air purification is a key step in the pretreatment of air separation equipment, with the main purpose of removing harmful gases and impurities such as moisture, carbon dioxide, hydrocarbons, etc. from the air. These impurities may cause corrosion, blockage, or affect the purity of the product on the equipment. Purification methods: drying, adsorption, low-temperature condensation.
Air separation equipment preprocesses the air through three steps: filtration, pre cooling, and purification to ensure the purity and quality of the final product.
