The air separation plant produces oxygen and other gases. Oxygen is a colorless, odorless and tasteless gas. It is a combustion promoter.

Oxygen and combustible gas (acetylene, methane, etc.) can be mixed in a certain proportion to form an explosive mixture. Especially the clothes contaminated with grease may spontaneously ignite in the presence of oxygen. Therefore, clothes saturated with oxygen should be ventilated and diluted outdoors immediately.
