There are two types of differential pressure transmitters, electric and pneumatic. Here we only introduce the structure principle of pneumatic differential pressure transmitter, the role of differential pressure transmitter is to convert the differential pressure signal into 0.02 ~ 0.1MPa air pressure signal, for long-distance transmission, and to the display instrument display or record down.
The measured pressure difference P1 and P2 are introduced into the positive and negative pressure chambers respectively. Because P1>P2, the differential pressure Δp=p1-p2, the diaphragm box moves downwards, driving the main lever to produce a counterclockwise moment with the centre of the seal as the fulcrum, so that the baffle at the right end is close to the nozzle, the back pressure of the nozzle increases and the output pressure of the amplifier rises. In order to keep the baffle plate and the nozzle at a stable distance, a portion of the output pressure is sent to the feedback bellows, which generates a clockwise torque on the main lever.
DEAR Air Separation Equipment's differential pressure transmitter production design system ensures high efficiency in small air separation units, large air separation units and liquid air separation plants.
