 Inclusions

1 Metal inclusions

Metal inclusions are mainly mixed in the casting metal melt in other kinds of metal pieces. It has a certain geometry, size of density and atomic number compared to the casting metal. Its image may appear as a lower or higher blackness than the background blackness, the image often has a flaky image, the blackness of the entire image is more consistent.

2 Slagging

Slag comes from the internal reaction products of the molten metal and the slag formed and separated during the melting process, the residue of the melt, the dislodged casting material, etc. The basic shape of the image on the negative is a granular black spot distributed in a certain area. The size and shape of the particles are different, often appearing as small flake images, the outline of the image is relatively clear, and the blackness of the image differs greatly from the background blackness.

3 Trachoma

A trachoma may be extremely irregular in the overall shape of the image on the negative, but the image blackness has a granular character, especially at the edge of the image.
