Many factors affect the centrifugal compressor exhaust volume, in addition to design, manufacturing, installation, in addition to the operation of large air separation units compressor can affect the exhaust volume of the main factors are.

1) Air filter blockage or increased resistance, resulting in lower compressor inlet pressure.

2) air separation equipment pipeline blockage, increased resistance or valve failure, triggering the air compressor exhaust pressure rise.

3) compressor intercooler blockage or increased resistance, triggering a reduction in exhaust volume.

4) poor sealing of the compressor of large air separation units, resulting in gas leakage. Including:

① internal leakage, i.e., inter-stage gas fugitive. Make the compressed gas backward, and then a second compression.

② external leakage, i.e. gas leakage from the shaft end seal to the outside of the casing.

5) Large air separation unit cooler leakage. A leak refers to the water side pressure is higher than the gas side pressure, cooling water will enter the gas side channel, and further entrained by the airflow into the impeller and diffuser. After a certain period of time caused by scaling, blockage, so that the air flow is reduced. Second and third level cooler leakage is the pressure on the gas side is higher than the water side, the compressed air will leak into the cooling water to run off, so that the exhaust volume is reduced.

6) The frequency or voltage of the power grid drops, leading to a decrease in the speed of the generator and compressor, reducing the exhaust volume.

7) any level of suction temperature increases, the gas density decreases, also will cause the suction volume to decrease.
