The compressed gas refrigerant is cooled and condensed in the condenser at medium pressure, which changes into liquid refrigerant after condensation. After condensation, the refrigerant is changed into liquid refrigerant, which is then expanded to low pressure by a throttle valve and turned into a gas-liquid mixture. The liquid refrigerant at low temperature and low pressure absorbs the heat of the refrigerated material in the evaporator and becomes gaseous refrigerant again. The gaseous refrigerant re-enters the compressor of the small air separation units via the pipeline and starts a new cycle.
