The clean air chamber outlet of the self-cleaning air filter is connected to the air compressor inlet, where process air is drawn in from the atmosphere under negative pressure.
The air passes through the filter cartridge and the dust is blocked by the filter media. Numerous small particles of dust form a dust film on the windward surface of the filter media. The dust film improves the filtration effect, but also increases the resistance to airflow. When the resistance increases to a high limit of 600 Pa, the resistance signal is transmitted from the differential pressure transmitter to the computer in the pulse controller, which issues a command and the self-cleaning system starts to work. After receiving the instruction, the solenoid valve controls and drives the diaphragm valve according to the program. The diaphragm valve instantly releases compressed air with a pressure of 600~800kPa, which is rectified by the nozzle and blows back at the filter cartridge from inside the cartridge, blowing the dust off the outer surface of the filter media, and the resistance drops accordingly. When the resistance reaches the initial resistance of the filter media (about 150 Pa), the self-cleaning system stops working.
There are 3 ways of cleaning process: Timing and positioning, the interval time and self-cleaning time can be set arbitrarily. Differential pressure self-cleaning: when the differential pressure exceeds the target, it enters into automatic continuous self-cleaning. Manual self-cleaning: When the electric control box is not working or when there is more dust, manual self-cleaning can be used. Blowback self-cleaning process is intermittent, only 1~2 groups are in self-cleaning state each time, the rest are still working, so it has online self-cleaning function.
Dear air separation manufacturing, research the technical principle theory of each machine, to ensure the quality of small air separation units, large air separation units and liquid air separation plants.
