When installing cold box panels, the two adjacent sides can be pre-assembled on the ground as a whole or in angular form. The base frame and the skeleton section steel between with thin steel plate liner to adjust the box plate upper end surface level.
Cold box verticality. Verticality <1.5/1000, the total height deviation shall not be greater than 20mm
cold box sealing: the outer side of the skeleton between the use of full welding, intermittent welding on the inner side, to confirm the cold box bolts all installed and tightened, welding seam all welding; cold box pressure plate gasket is pad properly.
After the lower cold box plate is installed and corrected again, the foundation frame can be grouted. General requirements for secondary grouting: Grouting is generally advisable with fine gravel concrete (or cement mortar) whose grade should be at least one grade higher than the concrete grade of the foundation. The underside of the frame or base plate should be kept clean before grouting oil, mud and other debris must be removed. The grouting layer should be closely bonded to the foundation surface, the rubbish in the foot bolt holes should be removed before grouting, the foundation surface should be chiselled into a pockmarked surface where the grouting layer needs to live, the oiled concrete should be barred and cleaned with a full brush of water, no water should be left in the cavities. Grouting should be pounded solidly, and the frame or base plate, gasket or foot bolt should not be bumped when pounding to prevent the installation accuracy. The grout layer on the outer edge of the frame should be flat and beautiful, and should be higher than the bottom of the frame or base plate. The grout layer should be sloped to prevent the inflow of oil and water and the leakage of sealing gas.
Dear Air Separation has to standardise on the strict requirements for the installation of cold boxes for large air separation units and liquid air separation plants in accordance with standards.
