Auxiliary condensing evaporator in liquid air separation plant is the device to remove acetylene and hydrocarbons from the condensing evaporator. In the condensing evaporator, liquid oxygen is continuously evaporated, while acetylene and other hydrocarbons contained in liquid oxygen are continuously concentrated. A part of the liquid oxygen is led from the bottom of the main cold evaporator, this part of the liquid oxygen evaporates in the auxiliary condensing evaporator and the acetylene and other explosive substances are concentrated in the auxiliary condensing evaporator before being led to the acetylene separator for regular removal.
