I like the river, because I am a child who grew up by the river. My hometown is near the Yangtze River. When I was young, my favorite thing was to sit on the bank of the river in a daze, watching the river flowing from the West to the east; when the setting sun went down, looking at the white sail in the river, the boats coming and going, listening to the sound of steam flute, and the sound of reeds blown by the wind, my heart will be filled with the irresistible yearning for the distance. Later, I left my hometown and went to a wider world. However, wherever I walked, I would smell my hometown as long as there was a river, we will also find the motivation and reason to move on.
Every river will try its best to find a way out and direction, no matter how tortuous the road is and how many difficulties it encounters; small rivers run to big rivers, while big rivers run to the ocean. For Rivers, if they lose the dream of running to the ocean, they will lose everything, and the final destiny may only disappear and dry up in the desert. But the greatness of Rivers lies in that they can start from inconspicuous places and finally gather themselves into magnificent rivers. At the beginning, it is ordinary and tiny without any remarkable magnificence. The river will never stop moving forward because of encountering obstacles. When any river encounters obstacles, it will constantly gather the water potential and accumulate strength until the obstacles are broken through, and then continue to rush forward; if the obstacles are really hard to break through, the river will not despair from then on, they will try to bypass obstacles, and it doesn't matter even if they change direction temporarily, because after bypassing obstacles, they will still go towards their final goal. The Yangtze River broke through the barrier of the Three Gorges, and finally ran into the sea; the Yellow River could not go through the obstacles like the Yangtze River, but changed the direction flexibly, bypassing the obstacles, after the 18th bend of jiuqu, he also ran eastward and threw himself into the embrace of the sea. If we can also be like Rivers, after encountering obstacles, we can continuously accumulate strength, finally overcome obstacles, or change direction flexibly and move forward continuously, then we will certainly see the realization of ideal and the sublimation of life.
Rivers are formed by banks and water. The shore determines the direction of the river, so that the water can concentrate on moving forward. Without the constraint of the shore, the water will flow around without destination, and finally become swamp or a pool of dead water; but if there is no water flowing between the bank, the restriction of the bank will lose its meaning. The growth of a person's life should also be like a river, which should not only be restrained by the shore, but also have the flexibility of water. As long as it is water, it is bound to flow towards its ideal direction, either rushing or gurgling, with different forms but always moving forward. People often call a big river flowing through their own country the mother river, because the river has the same mind as a mother, always giving and moving forward happily in giving.
