I like the river, because I am a child who grew up by the river. My hometown is near the Yangtze River. When I was young, my favorite thing was to sit on the bank of the river in a daze, watching the river flowing from the West to the east; when the setting sun went down, looking at the white sail in the river, the boats coming and going, listening to the sound of steam flute, and the sound of reeds blown by the wind, my heart will be filled with the irresistible yearning for the distance. Later, I left my hometown and went to a wider world. However, wherever I walked, I would smell my hometown as long as there was a river, we will also find the motivation and reason to move on.
Every river will try its best to find a way out and direction, no matter how tortuous the road is and how many difficulties it encounters; small rivers run to big rivers, while big rivers run to the ocean. For Rivers, if they lose the dream of running to the ocean, they will lose everything, and the final destiny may only disappear and dry up in the desert. Therefore, no matter how different the curves of the Yellow River and the Yangtze River are, their dreams of rushing to the sea are the same; it is also because of the dreams of rushing to the sea that they have a happy ending of rushing to the sea at last. Life is like a big river. Everyone has his own life curve. There is no two people living the same life in the world. However, from those who have successful careers, we can see the same characteristics: they are all ambitious people, and they are all tenacious and forward forever, they all have the firm belief of rushing to the sea like rivers.
All rivers are inconspicuous at the source, so that people can not imagine that this is the beginning of a big river. I have been to the Sanjiangyuan area, thinking about how these small ditches could be the birthplace of those surging rivers. But the greatness of Rivers lies in that they can start from inconspicuous places and finally gather themselves into magnificent rivers. From a small river to a big river, it often runs for thousands of kilometers. In the process of rushing all the way, it constantly accepts integration, gathers thousands of streams, and finally forms the climate. A person's life is also like a river. At the beginning, it is ordinary and tiny without any remarkable magnificence. But as long as we can keep moving forward like a river and broaden our knowledge and mind, accepting new thoughts and wisdom, the road of life will be wider and wider, and eventually achieve a magnificent life like a river running.
The river will never stop moving forward because of encountering obstacles. When any river encounters obstacles, it will constantly gather the water potential and accumulate strength until the obstacles are broken through, and then continue to rush forward; if the obstacles are really hard to break through, the river will not despair from then on, they will try to bypass obstacles, and it doesn't matter even if they change direction temporarily, because after bypassing obstacles, they will still go towards their final goal. The Yangtze River broke through the barrier of the Three Gorges, and finally ran into the sea; the Yellow River could not go through the obstacles like the Yangtze River, but changed the direction flexibly, bypassing the obstacles, after the 18th bend of jiuqu, he also ran eastward and threw himself into the embrace of the sea. If we can also be like Rivers, after encountering obstacles, we can continuously accumulate strength, finally overcome obstacles, or change direction flexibly and move forward continuously, then we will certainly see the realization of ideal and the sublimation of life.
Rivers are formed by banks and water. The shore determines the direction of the river, so that the water can concentrate on moving forward. Without the constraint of the shore, the water will flow around without destination, and finally become swamp or a pool of dead water; but if there is no water flowing between the bank, the restriction of the bank will lose its meaning. The growth of a person's life should also be like a river, which should not only be restrained by the shore, but also have the flexibility of water. If we don't restrain our actions, we will spend our energy on many boring things, such as surfing the Internet, watching TV, playing games, these things are just using superficial interests to eliminate the will of our long journey of life. Therefore, we should restrain our behaviors like the shore and focus on the important things in life. Of course, we should have the spirit of water more, make ourselves in a flowing state, make ourselves deeper in knowledge and go further in life. As long as it is water, it is bound to flow towards its ideal direction, either rushing or gurgling, with different forms but always moving forward. Therefore, we should have the power to move forward all the time like water.
In the process of running all the way, the river has never forgotten to nourish the land and raise everything. Every river irrigates the fields generously, making the plants grow healthily, and decorating the beautiful rivers and mountains while supporting thousands of households. People often call a big river flowing through their own country the mother river, because the river has the same mind as a mother, always giving and moving forward happily in giving. If we can have a heart like a river, help others and care for the society in the journey of life, then our lives will be more beautiful than rivers.
Please don't forget that we can get too much inspiration and learn too much truth from the nature. If you lose confidence in life, encounter insurmountable difficulties in your work, suffer from endless setbacks in love, or encounter unsolved problems in your study, then go to the Riverside to sit down. Look at the flow of the river, look at the power and firmness of the water flow to break through obstacles, look at the river water can still be condensed into clear and calm water even if it is smashed, you can probably understand: what kind of state is a life with tolerance, ideals and beliefs.
