Because the resistance and flow velocity flowing along the impeller inlet will increase, the pressure behind the impeller inlet is lower than the pressure of the inlet pipe. If the pressure is lower than the saturated vapor pressure of the liquid at this temperature, the liquid will boil and vaporize, and bubbles will be entrained in the liquid. When the liquid with bubbles reaches the area with high pressure along the centrifugal force of the impeller, the bubbles will liquefy again, and the surrounding liquid will flow to the area occupied by the original bubbles at high speed, making the impeller bear extremely strong impact force, damaging the impeller surface, causing the impeller surface to produce honeycomb-like corrosion points, or even cavities. This is the reason why the centrifugal pump produces cavitation.

The control system of domestic air separation plants basically adopts the DCS control system, which is monitored and operated in the on-site central control room. Some well-known foreign enterprises have successfully developed remote monitoring systems for air separation equipment, even unattended systems. Domestic manufacturers have also begun to pay attention to the application of remote monitoring system and actively learn from foreign enterprises with advanced technology. Based on the development of domestic Internet technology and automatic control technology, the development of the Internet remote project of DEAR Air Force is studied. This research can improve the competitiveness of enterprises and lay a foundation for the automatic control and remote control of air separation equipment.

Nitrogen is a colourless, odourless, non-toxic and non-flammable gas at room temperature and atmospheric pressure, which is chemically stable and hardly reacts with other substances. Nitrogen is often used as a protective gas in a wide range of industries. There are several main methods of producing nitrogen. One of these is molecular sieve nitrogen in air (variable pressure adsorption), which is ...
