The liquid oxygen in the air separation equipment and the oxygen content in the liquid air are high. After evaporation in the air, the oxygen concentration in the local range will increase. If there is fire, there is a risk of combustion and explosion. A chemical fertilizer plant once exploded and injured people because it discharged a large amount of liquid oxygen into the trench and encountered welding sparks. Therefore, it is strictly forbidden to discharge liquid into the trench at will, and it should be discharged into the liquid evaporation tank or special low-temperature resistant metal drain pit through pipes. The discharge pit shall be kept clean frequently and no organic matter or grease is allowed to accumulate. When discharging liquid, hot work is strictly prohibited around.
Contact of low-temperature liquid with skin will cause severe frostbite. In mild cases, the skin will form blisters, redness and pain; If it is heavy, it will freeze the internal tissues and bones and joints. If it falls into the eye, it will cause eye damage. Therefore, when discharging liquid, avoid direct contact with liquid with hands, and wear dry cotton gloves and protective glasses when necessary. In case of contact with skin, immediately wash with warm water (below 45 ℃).
DEAR air separation management is controllable, stable and safe, providing users with more timely and accurate technical support, finding possible problems as soon as possible and handling them in a timely manner.
