Standardisation of the human-machine interface for liquid air separation plants
Jun 01, 2022
Author: DEAR AST

Uniform and standardised design of the human-machine control interface for liquid air separation plants to increase the ease of control of liquid air separation plants and improve the added value of the product.

Industrialised design of applications
The industrialised design of large air separation unit applications, including the humanised design of the safety and protection of large air separation unit in the operation and maintenance of the design of convenient safety protection devices, to facilitate the operation of users, reflecting the humanised concept of the design of large air separation unit.

Lifting design of small air separation units skids
Different types of lifting devices are designed on the skids of the various types of small air separation units to facilitate the lifting of the small air separation units
① For small skids (up to 1 tonne in weight), home-made lifting devices are designed.
② For medium-sized skids (weight between 1 and 3 tonnes), a lifting device with a combination of eyebolts and forklift holes is used.
③For large pry blocks (weighing more than 3 tonnes), a special lifting block is used.

Design of the pneumatic valve control air circuit
At present, the pneumatic valve control air circuit on the liquid air separation plants uses a large sub-pipe, the direction is chaotic, affecting the appearance of the liquid air separation plants, the design uses a bent stainless steel tube as the valve control air circuit, not only to change the appearance of the liquid air separation plants and increase the service life of the pipeline, to improve the reliability of the operation of liquid air separation plants.
In recent years, DEAR has made significant breakthroughs in the research of core technologies and related auxiliary technologies for energy-saving small air separation units, large air separation units and liquid air separation plants, and has been awarded a number of invention patents in this field.

Generally, the actual cooling capacity of expander is always less than the theoretical cooling capacity. Under the same inlet and outlet pressure and inlet gas temperature, the lower the efficiency of expander, the smaller the unit refrigerant cooling capacity and the smaller the temperature drop efficiency of expander. The efficiency of expander depends on the size of various losses inside the expander. Due to the existence of various losses, the ability of gas to do external work is reduced in varying degrees. To sum up, the losses mainly include the following aspects: 1. When the air flow passes through the work wheel and the deflector, the loss caused by friction and air flow impact on the runner surface is called flow loss. 2. When the impeller is rotating, the friction heat generated by the gas around the wheel disc will increase the temperature of the gas, which is called friction blast loss. 3. When the gas passes through the deflector, the leakage from the gap bet
