Cryogenic liquid gasifiers such as liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen and liquid argon are used in liquid gasification stations for direct gas supply or bottle filling. To ensure safe operation, set up safety control points and pay attention to the following matters.
1) Set up low temperature control interlock points for cryogenic liquids out of the gasifier to control the gas outlet temperature at 5 to 30°C. When the outlet temperature is below 0℃, the liquid pump will be automatically cut off and the liquid will be aborted from entering the gasifier.
2) Set the gasifier water temperature control interlock point to control the water temperature at 40~60℃. When the water temperature is below 30℃, the liquid pump will be cut off automatically and the liquid will be stopped from entering the gasifier.
3) Set the gasification gas outlet pressure control interlock point, the pressure control in the set value, the outlet gas pressure is higher than the set value, issued an alarm; pressure continues to rise automatically cut off the liquid pump, to stop the liquid into the gasifier.
4) Safety valves and venting valves are installed at the two ends of the liquid pump with shut-off valves to ensure safety in case of misoperation; the pressure gauge and safety valve of the gasifier are regularly calibrated.
5) The gasifier heated by water bath must be filled with water before use and heated to 40-60°C before supplying the liquid. Before stopping the gasifier, cut off the liquid delivery valve and then cut off the heating power supply. During the gasification process, you should always pay attention to the water level and replenish the water in time; adjust the water temperature in time, and if it happens that the water temperature drops below 30℃, you should check whether the electric heater is damaged. If necessary, reduce the output flow to ensure the temperature after gasification. If ice or frost is found in the pipeline from the gasifier to the filling, the filling should be stopped.
