Piston type liquid pump for small air separation unit

There are many reasons why a piston type liquid pump type positive displacement pump does not hit the pressure, the liquid is incompressible. Then the pressure can not play up must be because the liquid flow is not large enough.

Liquid flow is not large enough for the following reasons:

  1. partial gasification of the liquid medium, the presence of gas in the liquid cylinder.
  2. poor sealing of the inlet valve or exhaust valve, so that the liquid leaks back into the liquid cylinder.
  3. piston ring wear or failure; pump speed is too low; pump inlet subcooling is not enough.
