  1. To determine whether the heat exchanger has thermal scale: a. View the last 3 to 6 months of the heat exchanger convergence temperature (gas temperature inlet water temperature) annual convergence temperature rise greater than 2 ℃ per year. b. If the convergence temperature has increased significantly more than 0.5 ℃ per month, indicating the existence of problems.
  2. Treatment options.
  3. Slight thermal scale (convergence temperature rise less than 0.5℃/month): firstly reduce the concentration of circulating water, control the calcium hardness in circulating water within 500mg, PH control below 8.5, then increase the dosage of scale and corrosion inhibitor and dispersant (duration needs 3 to 6 months)
  4. Severe thermal scale (tend to temperature rise significantly greater than 1℃ per month)
  5. Physical method: use electric drill clip hard brush one by one to clean the copper pipe
  6. Chemical method: use chemicals and carry out single machine cleaning: do analysis of scale samples before cleaning. If the composition of hot scale is carbonate, use sulfamic acid or hydrochloric acid to clean: if the composition of hot scale is silicate, use hydrofluoric acid to clean: if the composition of hot scale is phosphate, use EDTA, sulfamic acid, hydrochloric acid compound to clean under heating condition. During the cleaning process, please add copper corrosion inhibitor and carbon steel corrosion inhibitor, and hang carbon steel pegs and copper pegs.
