Liquefied natural gas (LNG) contains a large amount of high-grade cold energy, which has a high economic value. With the current rapid growth of LNG users in China and the intensification of global energy supply constraints, the rational use of LNG cold energy is particularly important for energy conservation.

As China's demand for LNG increases, more LNG receiving stations will be built in coastal areas, where LNG will be gasified and delivered to users as urban residential gas, industrial fuel and chemical raw materials. In the process of LNG gasification, about 83k of low temperature energy is generated. Usually this cold energy is absorbed by the air or seawater through the gasifier, and the cold energy contained in it is not utilised, resulting in a huge waste of energy. If this cold energy is utilised. If this cold energy is used, huge energy savings can be made. From the perspective of energy conservation, it is important to actively seek and make efficient use of cold energy.

Natural gas is a high quality energy source. It has a high calorific value, is clean and has low combustion pollution. Its main component is methane, in order to facilitate the transport of its liquefied liquefaction temperature is generally in 150 ℃ to 161 ℃.

Dear Air Separation uses LNG cold energy in the form of liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen and liquid argon. liquid air separation plant for liquid nitrogen and liquid argon. According to the principle of using low temperature cold energy as low as possible, liquid air separation plant is the most effective and reasonable way of using LNG cold energy.

The liquefaction of gases can be divided into forward and reverse cycles. The forward cycle process is the absorption of heat from the higher temperature external heat source and the release of heat to the lower temperature external heat source. The reverse cycle is when the mass draws heat from a lower temperature external heat source and releases it to a higher temperature external heat source. The forward cycle converts heat energy into mechanical energy and the reverse cycle converts mechani...

Distillation is using the different boiling points of the two substances to condense the mixed steam and vaporize the mixed liquid repeatedly to achieve gas separation. For a mixed liquid composed of two substances with different boiling points, when the heat absorption part evaporates, the volatile components will evaporate more, while the mixed steam will give off heat and partially condense, the non volatile components will condense more. If the saturated steam with higher temperature is mixed with the saturated liquid with lower temperature, the steam will release heat and partially condense, and the liquid will absorb heat part of it evaporates. If after a round of partial evaporation and partial condensation, the steam and liquid with higher concentration will contact with the steam and liquid with different temperature respectively, and then partial condensation and partial evaporation will occur again. This process will be repeated for many times, and finally gas separation
