Gas-liquid separation is one of the simplest and most common methods of gas pretreatment. Many process gases in industrial plants, such as steam reforming gas, conversion gas, methanol choke gas, etc., which are based on natural gas, contain only H2, N2, CH4, CO, C02, 02, H20, CH30H or some of these 'light' gases, which H20 orCH3OH, if enter the PSA small air separation unit in liquid form, this can cause damage to the performance of the adsorbent. In order to eliminate the possible influence of liquid carry-over on the adsorbent, a gas-liquid separator can be designed in front of the PSA unit. The stainless steel wire mesh defoamer of the gas-liquid separator is used to separate the small amount of liquid that may be entrained in the process gas before it enters the PSA  small air separation unit.

It should contact with the front and rear processes when the piston compressor is ready to stop, we should pay attention to the following sequence: first, cut off the gas supply slowly. In order to prevent the outlet pressure from rising after the gas supply is cut off, open the vent valve at the same time. For the oxygen compressor, the vent valve should be opened slowly, because excessive opening may produce static electricity and cause fire. Then, stop the motor. After the motor stops, turn off the circulating oil pump, grease injector motor and cooling water valve. However, there are also exception cases. For example, in case of emergency shutdown, in order to save time and prevent the accident from expanding, the power supply can be cut off immediately to stop the compressor with load.
