In addition to the current crude argon condensing column process, there is also a crude argon column scheme with conventional distillation layout that uses the pressure air and oxygen rich liquid air in the main stream as the heat source and cold source.
The 440cm³/h crude argon in the crude argon compressor is condensed in the condenser set at the bottom of the refined argon column, and the condensate is used as the reflux of the refined argon column. A nitrogen condenser is set at the bottom of the refined argon column, and the pressure nitrogen from the main flow is 100cm³/h to heat and condense itself as the reflux ratio at the top of the refined argon column, so as to obtain qualified argon product 400cm³/h at the bottom of the refined argon column.
