Oxygen is a colorless, odorless, tasteless gas. It's a combustion aid. It can be mixed with combustible gases (acetylene, methane, etc.) in a certain proportion to form explosive mixture. When the oxygen concentration in the air increases to 25%, the active combustion reaction can be excited; When the oxygen concentration reaches 27%, a Mars can develop into a lively flame. Therefore, fireworks should be strictly prohibited in the oxygen workshop and around the oxygen making device. When the clothes are saturated with oxygen, they will burn quickly when they meet open fire.

 

In particular, clothes contaminated with grease may spontaneously ignite when exposed to oxygen. Therefore, oxygen saturated clothing should be immediately diluted to outdoor ventilation. Meanwhile, air separation operators or those who are exposed to oxygen or liquid oxygen are not allowed to use dishwashing oil.
