With the same diameter, the production capacity of packed column is larger than sieve tray column, and with the same production capacity, the diameter of packed column is smaller;
The packed column has smaller mass transfer, larger specific surface area and higher separation efficiency;
The resistance of the packed column at the same height is less than that of the sieve tray column, so the pressure drop in the column is smaller and more energy-saving;
The ability of packing column to adapt to load change is better than sieve tray column, which lays a foundation for variable load operation
