When the air separation user's production line fails to achieve full load production and the oxygen demand is far lower than the production capacity of the air separation plant, if the oxygen compressor operates in constant pressure mode, it will cause frequent high-pressure discharge of the equipment, which will greatly cause energy waste and serious noise pollution.

Taking the turbine oxygen compressor as an example, according to the oxygen supply and demand of the production line, the operation mode of manual loading in advance when the production line is full load and manual unloading when the load is reduced can be adopted to achieve the purpose of energy saving and consumption reduction. During the loading process, slowly open the inlet guide vane to the specified value manually, and then slowly and continuously close the high-pressure return valve to the fixed value manually. In the unloading process, according to the indication of the inlet pressure of the oxygen compressor, first manually open the high pressure reflux valve slowly and continuously until it is fully open, then manually close the inlet guide vane slowly to the start position, and reasonably reduce the set value of the air pressure of the oxygen compressor according to the oxygen consumption and the air storage capacity of the storage and transmission system. Attention shall be paid to the above operations: loading and unloading process will cause the change of the inlet pressure of the oxygen compressor. When the inlet pressure of the oxygen compressor changes too much, and the relevant differential pressure cannot be adjusted synchronously, the relevant interlocking will be triggered in serious cases, resulting in accidents such as shutdown, which will threaten the safety and stable operation of the air separation plant. Therefore, the energy-saving operation should be carried out smoothly on the premise of ensuring the absolute safety and stable operation of the equipment.

Shell and tube air separation heat exchanger is the most representative wall heat exchanger. It has a long history of application and is still dominant in all heat exchangers. Shell and tube heat exchanger is mainly composed of shell, tube bundle, tube sheet and head. Most of the shell is round, and there are parallel tube bundles inside. Both ends of the tube bundle are fixed on the tube plate. In shell and tube heat exchanger, there are two kinds of fluids for heat exchange. One kind of fluid flows in the tube, and its stroke is called tube side. The other flows outside the tube and its stroke is called shell side. The wall of tube bundle is the heat transfer surface. In order to improve the heat transfer coefficient of the fluid outside the tube, a certain number of transverse baffles are usually installed in the shell. The baffle can not only prevent the short circuit of the fluid and increase the velocity of the fluid, but also force the fluid to flow through the tube bundle man
