Molecular sieve(Also known as synthetic zeolite) is a kind of microporous crystals made up of SiO and AIO sihedron and the frame structure. There are metal cations (such as Na, K, Ca, etc.) in the molecular sieve lattice to balance the redundant negative charge in the sihedron. According to its crystal structure, the types of molecular sieve are mainly divided into: Type A, Type X, type Y, etc.
TYPE A
5 r H-[2 d4 M + g4 Z % f the main component of r H-[2 d4 M + g4 Z % f is siovenate, with a Aperture of 4A (1A = 10-10 M), which is called 4A (also known as Nano A) molecular sieve; the aperture of 5A is formed by exchanging the Na + in the 4A molecular sieve with Ca +; the aperture of 3A is formed by exchanging the Na + in the 4A molecular sieve with K +, that is 3A (also known as potassium A) molecular sieve.
X-TYPE
The crystal structures of the aluminium silicon are different (the size of the ratio of silicon to aluminum is different), forming the molecular sieve crystal with the aperture of 9-05, which is called 13X (also called sodium X type) molecular sieve; exchange the Na + in the 13X molecular sieve with Ca +, the formation of molecular sieve crystal with a Aperture of 9A is called 10X (also called calcium X type) molecular sieve.
Y-TYPE
Y-type molecular sieve has crystal structure like X-type molecular sieve hydrocarbon, but its chemical composition is different (silicon and aluminum are relatively large), which is usually used in the catalytic field.
