What are the common failures of screw compressor? How to deal with them?

Screw Compressor belongs to volume compressor, which is composed of mutually meshing active rotor and driven rotor, body and a pair of synchronous gears. Therefore, the common failures of screw compressor are as follows:
1) the bearing is burnt out. Oil system enters foreign matter, oil pressure decreases, oil quality degradation and other reasons, which cause burning out the bearing. The main treatment methods are: check the oil supply system; clean the oil filter and cooling pipe of the oil cooler; check and adjust the oil pressure regulating valve; test the quality of the oil, change the oil when the quality is not good; check and handle the oil leakage point.
2) the rotor burns out. When the compressed medium system enters into foreign matter, or the temperature of the rotor rises and the cooling oil temperature of the rotor rises due to the high temperature of the inhaled medium and the increase of the compression ratio, bad assembly of components, deformation of Shell and other reasons can cause burning out of the rotor. The main treatment methods are: check the air system; clean the intermediate cooler; check the cooling water volume of the cooler and the water cover; clean the oil cooler; check the nozzle and channel of the oil cooler.
3) abnormal vibration sound. Vibration and abnormal sound are caused by reasons such as the shaking of the shaft or the malfunction of the shaft. The processing method often requires disintegration inspection.
