Air separation tower has the following requirements for Foundation:
1) to ensure the level of the distillation column plate, the uneven settlement of the Foundation should be avoided as much as possible;
2) Effective measures should be taken to prevent cold insulation, scattered cooling, waterproof and drainage, in case of frost heaving and foundation rupture;
3) Try to choose the site with high terrain, low underground water level, good surface drainage and low frost heaving property of Foundation;
4) flammable and explosive materials are strictly prohibited.
In order to make the foundation freeze-proof and anti-permeability, a layer of fine stone concrete is needed on its surface, and metal waterproof layer of copper sheet or aluminum sheet should be added around if necessary. The foundation body adopts concrete with waterproof and frost resistance (No. 200 waterproof concrete ). In order to reduce cold running, a layer of Pearl sand concrete mortar with a thickness of no less than 300mm should be laid on the top, whose compressive strength should not be less than 7.5MPa and thermal conductivity should not be more than 0.2 w/(m · ℃ ), and there should be no cracks.
In order to prevent the underground water from freezing, the foundation itself can be equipped with ventilation holes, or the ventilation pipes can be buried in the soil layer under the foundation, and the drainage work around the foundation should be done well. The basic elevation is generally 800 ~ 1000mm.
In order to monitor the temperature change and elevation change of the foundation in the using process, temperature measuring points should be set up on the upper, lower and bottom surface of the base layer, and settlement observation points should be buried around the surface of the Foundation.
