Precooling system of air separation equipment is the key link before raw material air treatment. Its core function is cooling and water removal, which lays a foundation for efficient operation of subsequent purification system, avoids load of absorber due to high temperature air, and ensures stability of low temperature working condition of the whole equipment. The system takes heat exchange cooling and condensate water removal as the core logic, and completes air pretreatment through multiple equipment cooperation.
During operation, the feed air boosted by the compressor enters the air cooling tower for reverse contact and heat exchange with cooling media such as circulating water and chilled water. The temperature of high temperature air drops to 4-10 ℃ after full heat exchange with low temperature medium. Most of the water in the air is condensed and separated out with the decrease of temperature and discharged from the drainage device at the bottom of air cooling tower to realize preliminary dehydration.
The system is equipped with chiller, circulating water pump and measurement and control device: the chiller provides stable cooling capacity to ensure cooling effect; Keep the medium circulation unobstructed by the water pump; The control system monitors the inlet and outlet temperature and liquid level of the air cooling tower in real time, automatically regulates the load and medium flow of the refrigerator, and accurately controls the air temperature and humidity.
The pre-cooled air can stably enter the subsequent purification process after reaching the standard temperature and greatly reducing the water content. The efficient operation of the precooling system can improve the overall processing efficiency and reduce the equipment loss, which is an important guarantee for the continuous and safe operation of the air separation equipment.
